SBI foundation provides financial assistance of up to 5 lakh rupees for one year to low-income families college students across india who studies 1st year of undergraduate from top NIRF universities/colleges and IITs, MBA/PGDM from IIMS and Ph.D. from premier institutions to ensure continuity of their education through the scheme name of SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2023 with the implementation partnership of buddy4study.
1)SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Students Details:
1)Eligibility:
☛ First-Year Students of studies undergraduate courses from top NIRF universities/colleges in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible.
☛ The Candidate should have acquired minimum of 75% marks in the class 12 examination
☛ Applicant's family income must not be exceed 3 lakh rupees per annum.
☛ Only Indian students are eligible to apply sbi asha scholarship program.
2)How much money receive undergraduate students?
The benefits can be getting up to 50000 rupees for one year.
2)SBIF Asha Scholarship details for IIT Students:
1)Eligibility:
- ☛ Students who are studying first-year undergraduate from top IIT colleges in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible.
- ☛ Student should has secured minimum of 75% marks in the class 12 examination.
- ☛ From all sources, a family income of more than 3 lakhs is not admissible.
- ☛ Only PAN India students are eligible
2)How much Benefit get IIT Students?
Up to 3,40,000 for one year will be given to them.
3)SBI Foundation Asha Scholarship for IIM Students 2023:
1)Eligibility:
- ☛ In the academic year 2022-23 first-year of MBA/PGDM students who are pursuing their studies at top IIMs are eligible.
- ☛Applicants must have obtained a minimum 75% of marks in graduation (aggregate scores of all years/semisters)
- ☛Annual family income of the applicants from total assets should not be allowed to more than 3 lakhs.
- ☛Students from PAN india are eligible are eligible to apply.
2)How much Scholar will be provided to IIMs students?
IIMs students get the highest amount of benefit up to 5 lakhs for one year than rest of the groups.
4)SBI Asha Scholarship for Ph.D. students:
1)Eligibility:
- ☛ First-Year student's practices of Ph.D. programme from any group at renowned institutions in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible.
- ☛ Applicant must has minimum of 75% marks in postgraduation after calculating total scores of all years/semisters.
- ☛ The Annual family income limit is below 3 lakh rupees.
- ☛ Only Indian researchers are eligible.
2)How much amount will be given to Ph.D. Students:
Up to 2 lakh rupees will be benefited to Ph.D. applicants for one year.

- ☛ Click on the 'Start Application' button to begin the application process
- ☛ Fill in the required details in the online application form
- ☛ Upload relevant documents
- ☛ Accept the 'Terms and Conditions' and click on the 'preview'
- ☛ If the preview screen showing all filled fields are correctly, then click on the 'Submit' button to complete the entire process.
6)Required Documents:
- ☛Marksheet of the previous academic year (Class 12/Graduation/Postgraduation/etc..)
- ☛ Aadhaar Card (Please upload both the front and back sides of the Aadhaar Card)
- ☛ Family Income Proof (Salary Slip/ITR/Form 16/Income Certificate from Tehsildar or Magistrate)
- ☛Current Year Admission Proof (Admission Letter/Student ID Card/Bonafide Certificate)
- ☛ Fee Structure (Academic Year 2022-23)
- ☛ Current Year College fee receipt (Academic Year 2022-23)
- ☛ Other Academic Expenses (hostel fee, food, tuition fee, stationary etc)
- ☛ Recent Passport size color Photograph
- ☛ Caste Certificate (if Applicable)
- ☛ Death Certificate of Parent (In case of Single Parent/Orphan)
- ☛ Bank Passbook
7)Selection Process:
The selection of Scholars will be based on their academic merit and financial background. After the initial shortlisting of applications, the final selection will be taken through a Phone interviews followed by document verification. After completion of document verification, the amount will be transferred into a scholar bank account.
Note: This is the one-time scholarship only but not for giving subsequent years of studies.
8)Last Date:
30-04-2023 is the deadline for applying this financial assistance program to everyone, so don't wait till last date of the process.
