Actual PMAY-G Housing Amount Provided to Andhra Pradesh Beneficiaries (2019–2024)

Beneficiaries sanctioned between 2019 and 2024 under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Gramin (PMAY-G) received ₹1,80,000 for house construction.

Some families were unable to complete construction due to insufficient funds, so the government provided additional financial assistance in 2024-25, as follows:

  • ₹1,00,000 for Adivasi tribal beneficiaries
  • ₹75,000 for ST beneficiaries
  • ₹50,000 for SC and BC beneficiaries

Eligible beneficiaries also had access to DWACRA loans up to ₹35,000 at a 3% interest rate, helping them cover construction expenses.

With government support and low-interest loans combined, many households received up to ₹2,50,000 in total assistance.

At present, the government has not yet released official details about the financial support structure for newly sanctioned houses under the PMAY-G survey extension.

Benefits of the PMAY-G Survey Deadline Extension in Andhra Pradesh

By extending the PMAY-G survey deadline to November 30, 2025, the Andhra Pradesh government ensures that no eligible rural family is left out due to a lack of awareness, technical issues, or delayed documentation.

This move strengthens the state’s mission to provide every poor family with a dignified home and supports the national vision of Housing for All by 2029.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I apply for the AP housing scheme under PMAY-G if I don’t have land?

Answer: Yes. Landless households can also apply under the PMAY-G (Rural Housing Scheme) in Andhra Pradesh.

As per the latest government instructions, surveyors must include “No Site” households in the Awaas Plus 2024 app, and no photo is required for this category.

If you don’t own land, you should still complete the survey. Based on eligibility, the government may:

  • Allocate land in government layouts
  • Provide housing under state schemes
  • Consider you for future housing allotments

We already built our house up to the slab level. Can we newly enroll in PMAY-G to complete it?

Answer: No. PMAY-G does not allow new enrollment for houses that are already partially constructed.

Eligibility requires starting construction only after receiving sanction, with each stage geo-tagged from the beginning.

Once a house is built up to slab height, it is classified as an existing or ongoing structure, making it ineligible for fresh PMAY-G approval.

Why is PMAY-G's saved data not uploading?

Answer: PMAY-G data does not upload when the Aadhaar number, Aadhaar name, or Aadhaar age of any family member entered in the survey does not match the Aadhaar record.

When any mismatch occurs, the system saves the entry but blocks the upload.

To fix this, delete the saved survey and submit a new survey using details exactly as they appear in Aadhaar.
