    • Government School Learners: Original Transfer Certificate (T.C) or Record Sheet signed by the Head Master.

Who Is Not Eligible for APOSS SSC?

Restrictions on Current or Prior SSC Enrollment

Learners who are currently studying or have already passed SSC from any other board during the current academic year are not eligible to enroll in the SSC course offered by the Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS).

If a learner gains admission while hiding this information, their pass certificate will be canceled without notice, and legal action may be taken.

Consequences of Providing False Date of Birth

If a learner secures admission by falsely claiming they have never studied or by providing a manipulated Date of Birth (DOB), such as hiding previous school records or a Transfer Certificate (T.C.), their admission and any issued certificates will be canceled without prior notice.

Further, if authorities such as the Army, Navy, Air Force, Border Security Force (BSF), or the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) later report that a learner has two different DOBs or conflicting identity records, APOSS will treat this as a serious violation.

The admission and pass certificate will be immediately canceled to maintain the integrity of the certification process.

APOSS SSC: Day-wise Exam Schedule & Subject Selection Guidance

When planning for the APOSS SSC Public Examinations, it’s important to understand the day-wise subject schedule.

Students must NOT select subject combinations that have examinations on the same day.

Wrong subject selection will cause scheduling conflicts, and students are solely responsible for such inconvenience.

For example, don't choose both Kannada and Telugu (both on Day 3), or both Mathematics and Indian Culture & Heritage (both on Day 4).

Note: If fewer than 50 learners register for a subject, the Public Examination for that subject will not be conducted in that academic year. Such subjects will be treated as unviable.

Note: If your admission is rejected for any reason after payment, the fee will not be refunded or transferred. It is your responsibility to submit the correct details and documents.

APOSS SSC AI Centers: Selection and Management

During the APOSS SSC online admission process, selecting an Accredited Institution (AI) is a crucial step. Each AI Center has a limited seat capacity, and your application can only be confirmed if seats are available. Here's everything learners need to know about selecting, changing, or canceling their AI Center choice.

Guidelines for Choosing an AI Center

  1. Sanctioned Seat Limit: Each AI Center has a fixed number of seats. Once the sanctioned strength is reached, admissions will close automatically. No further admissions will be allowed at that center under any circumstances.
  2. Real-Time Admission Tracking: During online application submission, the system automatically tracks seat availability. If your selected AI Center is full, an on-screen message will prompt you to select another available center.
  3. AI Coordinator-Level Admission Cap: Even at the AI Coordinator level, the system checks if seat limits are exceeded. If so, your application will be rejected unless transferred to a different center.

How to Change an AI Center

If your preferred AI Center is full or you're unable to proceed with admission confirmation or fee payment, you can change your center using the following process:

  1. Visit the official website: https://apopenschool.ap.gov.in
  2. Click on the “Change the A.I Centre” link
  3. Enter your Registration Number
  4. Select a new AI Center from the available options
  5. Your application will be automatically transferred to the new center
Note:
  • This feature is available only to learners who couldn’t confirm their admission or pay the fee due to filled seats. Other learners cannot use this option to switch centers casually.
  • You must visit the new AI Center in person to complete the admission confirmation process

How to Cancel an Application Registration

If you wish to cancel your registration before paying the admission fee, follow these steps:

  1. Visit: https://apopenschool.ap.gov.in
  2. Click on the link “Cancel Registration / Application”
  3. Enter your Registration Number
  4. Your registration will be canceled immediately

Note: The registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances if you choose to cancel the application.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Is APOSS SSC equivalent to regular SSC?

Ans: Yes, APOSS SSC certificate has the same value as a regular Board SSC certificate for all purposes.

What happens if I select conflicting subjects by mistake?

Ans: If you accidentally choose subjects that have examinations scheduled on the same day under APOSS (Andhra Pradesh Open School Society), don’t worry — you won’t lose your chance to complete them.

Since it is not possible to appear for two subjects in the same exam session, APOSS provides a flexible examination system to help you manage subject clashes easily.

How to resolve subject conflicts:

  • Choose one subject in the March/April session
  • Attempt the other subject in the May/June session
  • Distribute exams across different years within your 5-year validity period
  • Use up to 9 examination attempts to complete all your subjects at your own pace

This flexibility means that a timetable clash will not affect your progress or certification. As long as you plan your exam sessions wisely, you can complete all your chosen subjects without any issues.

Can I send someone else for APOSS AI verification?

Ans: No, only the applicant can personally visit the AI center for document verification. Proxy verification is not allowed under APOSS guidelines.

When will I know if my subject is cancelled due to low enrollment?

Ans: APOSS will inform learners before the examination fee payment stage. At that point, learners will be asked to change their subject within the given time frame.

What if I don’t change my subject within the given time?

Ans: If the learner does not choose another subject during the stipulated time, the subject will automatically stand cancelled and cannot be restored later.

Can I change my subject after admission?

Ans: Yes. Learners can request a subject change before completing six PCP sessions.
