- Learners must pass in at least five subjects out of the subjects opted.
- If a learner fails in any one of the five compulsory subjects but passes in the sixth (additional) subject, the result will still be declared as failed. The sixth subject cannot be adjusted against the failed subject.

APOSS SSC Certificate Corrections
Learners of the Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) may sometimes require corrections in their SSC Pass Certificate or Migration cum Transfer Certificate. APOSS allows such corrections under strict rules, as per the Procedure for Corrections and Changes (PCC) mentioned in the Prospectus.
Conditions for Certificate Corrections
- Corrections are allowed only in limited fields such as Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, or Surname.

- Entire change of data/names in certificates is not permitted. Only genuine corrections are allowed.

- Original SSC Pass Certificate and Migration cum Transfer Certificate.

- Original Record Sheet / Original T.C. / Date of Birth Certificate (for Father, Mother, or Surname corrections).
- Birth Certificate with Mother’s Name or Family Member Certificate (for correction in Mother’s Name).
Correction Fee Details
- Correction in SSC Pass Certificate: Rs. 1,000/-
- Correction in Migration cum Transfer Certificate: Rs. 500/-
- Fee should be paid via Demand Draft (D.D.) drawn in favour of Director, APOSS.
- Requests must be submitted through the AI Coordinator to the Director, APOSS, Guntur.
- Correction requests will be accepted only within one year from the date of issue of the certificate.
- Photo correction is normally not entertained, but may be allowed on technical grounds within one year of admission.
- If any unauthorized corrections are found on a certificate, it will be cancelled without prior notice.
- APOSS reserves the right to accept or reject correction requests after verification.
How to Get APOSS Duplicate Pass Certificate
If an APOSS learner loses their SSC Pass Certificate, Migration cum Transfer Certificate, or Marks Memo, they can apply for a duplicate copy by following the official process. - The filled-in application must include a signed passport-size photo, attested by the AI Coordinator, and submitted to the Director, A.P. Open School Society, Guntur.

- Police Certificate stating that the original certificate was lost and is beyond recovery.
- Affidavit on Rs. 100/- stamp paper, certified by a Notary.
- Demand Draft (D.D.) drawn in favour of Director, APOSS, payable at Guntur:
- Rs. 1,000/- for Duplicate Pass Certificate.
- Rs. 500/- for Duplicate Migration cum Transfer Certificate.
Duplicate Certificate Fee Structure
The fee increases progressively with each duplicate request:
- 1st Duplicate Pass Certificate: Rs. 1,000/-
- 2nd Duplicate Pass Certificate: Rs. 2,000/- (₹1,000 + ₹1,000)
- 3rd Duplicate Pass Certificate: Rs. 3,000/- (₹2,000 + ₹1,000)
- 4th Duplicate Pass Certificate: Rs. 4,000/- (₹3,000 + ₹1,000)

Does APOSS offer vocational courses?
Ans: No. APOSS does not offer vocational courses due to low enrollment.
